Ah yes, spring is that friend that I enjoy welcoming each year. She is always so fresh and pretty. Revived from her rest and ready to bloom. I love this time of year and your poem reminded me of some of my favorite parts. :)

Deletei tried writing poems about spring with my young students this week - and then realized they really don' remember how spring felt or looked - they were little kids last year! Your poem is wonderful and reflects the joy of being outside.

I love how you welcome the old friend of spring in your poem. I like, too, how your friend creeps in and then opens to the fullness of nature and playing and happy children.
