I love six word stories. I had never heard of them until this year. What is the history of this building? I looks very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI love them too, but they are hard to write. This log building was built using local cypress by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1939. This picture was taken before a local businessman financed an addition. The old structure was not compromised and the beautiful new addition modernized the rural library. I don't have a picture of that.
