I was stumped., couldn't focus on a topic so I searched the suggestion list. A place I Love, easy, piece of cake, I thought. But instead of a place, I thought of the thing that draws me to a place.
It's the trees.
Tall, light blocking trees.
Providing shelter in the rain.
Trees create
A canopy to walk under.
Encouraging one to linger.
Trees invite
Come, read under my branches.
Share a picnic lunch.
Trees paint
The landscape
For all to admire.

DeleteThank you, very nice of you to comment.
I love this! I've been planning a post about trees - I listed it on my Slices on my Mind post as Lifted Up! Isn't it fun how we start to write one thing and then write something else? My favorite phrase- "Encouraging one to linger."
