I'm fairly new to blogging. I have several blogs that I follow and love to read. When I compare myself to these blogs, I am hardest on myself, thinking I don't have anything to write. I'm still trying to find my niche in/on my blog. The Slice of Life Challenge has been helpful. I'm inspired by other teachers. I like writing and I especially like to find and read comments on my posts.
Today I reviewed the stats for my blog. I have reached 50 posts! And my blog has 2300 page views. Wow, that is quite an outreach. I'm pretty satisfied with these results. And I have lots of room to grow.
Thank you to Stacey & Ruth for offering the SOL.

Isn't it fun to wonder who has read all those posts?
ReplyDeleteI love looking at the stats to see if anyone is reading my posts. Comments are helpful too so that you can get some feedback. I hope you continue blogging! Jackie http://familytrove.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI treasure the comments I receive. It has amazed me the friendships that are built via blogs. I think all of us are very critical of our own writing and insecurities.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever participated in one of the National Writing Projects?
I've had my blog for years (carriejacobson.blogspot.com) - and getting comments and notes from anyone - especially strangers - is the best. I treasure each for the very fact of it, that someone, somehow, found my blog. And I treasure them because they bring fascinating people into my life.
ReplyDeleteLots of days, I feel that I have not much of anything to say. Those days, I try to write something, anything, that is honest and from the heart. Your blog posts - especially these slices of life pieces - seem to do that regularly. I love the lists! And the poems. I am glad you wandered into my blog and my life.
